Hicksgas is seeking an individual with mechanical, plumbing and technical experience to provide service and installations for residential and commercial water treatment equipment and propane systems at customer locations. The service technician will perform customer support activities, which include troubleshooting/repair, upgrades, maintenance and installation. The technician's goal is to provide thorough and knowledgeable service for our customers. The company will provide training on the products and equipment we market and service.

DUTIES

• Performing all diagnostics and analysis to trouble-shoot and repair equipment in a timely manner.
• Installing and servicing of propane tanks/systems
• Installing, upgrading and maintaining water treatment/propane equipment
• Salt delivery
• Communicating in a positive manner with customers
• Maintaining positive public relations and image for the company
• Assisting other staff members with delivery and installation of products/equipment
• Maintaining company vehicles, tools and equipment

QUALIFICATIONS

• Basic mechanical and plumbing skills
• Ability to obtain a Class B CDL license with HAZMAT, Tanker, and Airbrakes endorsements
• Dependable, organized, self-motivated and customer-oriented
• Capable of independent work
• Capable of communicating effectively with co-workers and customers
• No lifting restrictions
• Willingness to learn and grow your knowledge base
